Marc Conners
Marc Conners - Warwick Farm

Marc is a Group One winning racehorse trainer who began his career working for his father, Clarry Conners, four time winning trainer of the Golden Slipper. Marc received a thorough grounding in training racehorses under the tutelage of Clarry and grandfather, Clarry Snr, in turning out racehorses that have every chance of winning. During that period, Marc also spent time working at leading stables in England and the U.S.A. before taking out his licence as a trainer.
Marc trained his first metropolitan winner, Stellarwood at Warwick Farm on December 6, 1994. With only a small stable, Marc has made a remarkable start to his career by training the mare Camino Rose to win the Group One 1999 Coolmore Classic at Rosehill Gardens and the filly Crown Princess to win the Group Three 2003 MRC Thoroughbred Club Stakes. He has also trained the sprinter Nan Tien to win two Listed Races in 1999 and 2000 and the mare Aphasia to win the Listed Wyong Cup in 1997.
Marc's stable complex is situated within five minutes walking distance of Warwick Farm race course and with an underpass entering directly onto the course there is no need for your valuable racehorse to cross any busy roads. Warwick Farm has training facilities second to none in Sydney and horses can swim in the course swimming pool.
There is plenty of accommodation at Marc's stables with roomy modern boxes, yards and a new modern walking machine in a quiet area away from busy roads. Why not have your racehorse trained at Warwick Farm - the city track that boasts the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the country. This could be one reason why so many winning racehorses are trained at Warwick Farm.
